    Welcome

The Northstar Community Services District was founded in 1991 under Government Code 61600 as a local government entity to serve the Northstar Community with governmental services.  The District currently provides fire protection, water, sewer collection, snow removal, road surface maintenance, recycling services, solid waste management and trail construction and maintenance.  These services are supported by property taxes, the Measure E Road tax and water, sewer and solid waste user fees.

NCSD is governed by a five person elected Board of Directors composed of registered voters from the Northstar community whose role is to provide responsible leadership by determining policy for the District.  The Board appoints a General Manager who oversees the day to day operations of the District.

Board Meetings are held at 9 am on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.   The public is welcome to attend and participate.  Please see our Current News section for the meeting location.

We hope you will find our site very useful. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
